Insurance Risk Adviser - City of London - [ ]
As part of Financial Risk Management (FRM), you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of client engagements, managing or working as a part of a project team on client sites and the day-to-day liaison with clients. Depending on seniority, the successful candidate may be required either to take responsibility for a larger - possibly multi-disciplinary - engagement team or to manage small teams carrying out engagements.
As well as project delivery responsibilities, the role will involve supporting other aspects of the team's work, including sales and marketing, research and development of new services, and knowledge management.
You Will Need:
Degree level or equivalent education, ideally a post-graduate qualification
Insurance Industry experience at management level
Experience of working within a business function and/or oversight/risk role in the Insurance Industry
Practical and theoretical understanding of how risk is managed within insurance companies including operational risk, liquidity risk and wider risk governance
An appreciation of modelling techniques would be beneficial
An understanding of Solvency II requirements
Able to create and write policies and design reporting frameworks
Strong communication skills and ability to influence and deal with senior individuals
Ability to undertake travel

A strategic Equality and Diversity Consultant is required to provide leadership to senior management. This includes delivering against business targets, reviewing strategy against current and upcoming legislation and delivering the Diversity Charter.
This role requires you to ensure there is no discrimination in the organisation as a regulator, representative body and employer. You will be expected to implement the E&D strategy, review the strategy and ensure that the E&D policies are reflected in the corporate plan. Managing key stakeholders and their E&D agenda, you will be expected to be the leader on all E&D activity including reviewing governance structures.
To be successful in this role you will need previous experience of policy formation within a large organisation. Previous experience of leading large complex organisation in the development of E&D strategy, knowledge and understanding of E&D issues in a professional /public facing environment and translation of policy into effective activity.
