As Donor Development Manager you will bring your significant experience in a fundraising sales or marketing environment and success in donor acquisition and development to creating and running the direct marketing programme to current and new donors. You will enhance the charitys understanding of their donors by analysis and research nurturing communication segmentation and targeting strategies aimed at varying donor areas such as major donors.

The key tasks which will be the initial main focus of the Communications Manager are
To develop a communications strategy for the partnership.
Establish arrangements for regular MPs briefings on the organisations work and key issues.
In consultation with the team organise best practice events within the sub region to share learning from the Pathfinder programme on specific issues.
Produce material to promote good news stories from the Pathfinder programme.
Develop and improve the organisations website.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of the PR implications of Housing Market Renewal including sensitive and controversial issues. They will also have the ability to develop a proactive communications programme for the Housing Market Renewal pathfinder.
Experience of Communications work preferably in a public sector environment including media relations producing publicity and information commissioning design work and organising events and conferences.
