Policy Support Officer - Based North Wales - 3 months contract - 9.00 - 11.00 per hour To support the Strategic Housing Unit in the development and implementation of the Local Housing Strategy and related policies To assist with the monitoring and reviewing of the activities undertaken by Registered Social Landlords and providers. Duties and Responsibilities 1. To coordinate and monitor nominations to housing associations and prepare regular reports on performance against targets. 2. To undertake quality assurance assessments to ensure that allocations made are in accordance with the Housing Allocation and points scheme. 3. To further develop and coordinate the Adapted Property Matching Service. 4. To maintain appropriate records of the Supporting People Needs Mapping information and to analyse and produce reports as required. 5. To provide administrative support to the Strategic Housing Partnership and sub groups. 6. To provide evidence of the need for affordable housing through the planning consultation process. 7. To assist with the maintenance and updating of the Strategic Housing Units web pages. 8. To coordinate appropriate responses to any complaints received by the Strategic Housing Unit in accordance with the Corporate Complaints Procedure. 9.
